You are purchasing one authenticated luxury timepiece from an inventory pool curated specifically for this release. Each watch has a pre-determined fair market value (FMV). Depending on the disclosed probability tiers, the watch you receive may have a market value above or below $10,000. 

**Is this a "mystery box"?**\
No. This is a probability-based model with fully disclosed value tiers and odds. You are guaranteed a watch. The specific model and value tier are determined via a randomized allocation process at the time of purchase.

**Why structure it this way?**\
Many highly sought-after watches are difficult to access at retail. This format creates equal access to rare pieces, publishes transparent odds upfront, avoids bidding wars, and fixes the purchase price.

**What condition are the watches in?**\
All watches are listed with their condition (new/unworn or mint/very good), fully authenticated, and come with original box and papers where applicable.

### How Do the Odds Work?

**What are the value tiers?**\
The pool has a floor of $8,000 and a ceiling of approximately $90,000–$100,000 for top-tier (heavy hitter) pieces. 

**How is allocation determined?**\
Allocation is determined using an automated randomized selection system at the time of purchase. The system draws from the locked inventory pool, assigns watches according to pre-disclosed probabilities, prevents manual intervention, and logs each allocation event.

**Are odds independent for each purchase?**\
Yes. Each purchase is an independent allocation event based on the remaining inventory pool.

### How Is Value Determined?

**What does "fair market value" mean?**\
FMV represents an estimate of what the watch would reasonably sell for on the secondary market at the time the inventory pool was assembled.

**How is FMV calculated?**\
Valuations are based on recent public auction sales, verified secondary market transactions, recognized watch marketplaces, and model, condition, year, and completeness (box/papers). Valuations are locked prior to the release date.

**Is FMV the same as MSRP?**\
No. FMV reflects current secondary market value, not original retail price.

**Can I see the watches in the pool?**\
Yes. We showcase the major brands included in this release — including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and more — along with a preview of select chase pieces.\

We won't reveal the full inventory list in advance, but you'll have a clear sense of the caliber and brands available before you purchase.

**Are the watches already secured?**\
Yes. All watches are secured and authenticated before the release goes live.

**Are all watches authentic?**\
Yes. Every watch is authenticated prior to inclusion in the pool. Watches are sourced through a network of trusted partners, including [Luxury Bazaar](https://www.luxurybazaar.com/), one of the world's premier luxury watch retailers.

**Are watches new or pre-owned?**\
Watches are listed in new/unworn or mint/very good condition unless otherwise specified.

**What condition can I expect?**\
Each watch is inspected and disclosed prior to shipment. Condition grades include Unworn and Very Good, with details noted per item.

**Do watches include original box and papers?**\
Yes. Every watch in this release comes complete with its original box and papers.

### Returns & Cancellation

**Can I return my watch?**\
All sales are final. However, a 95% fair market value buyback offer is available for 7 days after you reveal your watch.

**What if my watch arrives damaged or defective?**\
All watches are fully insured during transit. Contact support immediately with photos. We will open a claim with our insurance provider and resolve the issue promptly.

### Resale & Liquidity

**Can I resell the watch through you?**\
We provide a instant 95% buyback offer based on competitive market value of the watch you reveal, available to accept within 7 days of purchase. This is a limited-time offer, and a 6% fee applies. You may also list the item on the Courtyard marketplace with 0% fees or have it shipped to you at any time.

**Is there a guaranteed floor price?**\
Yes. The floor fair market value for this release is $8,000.

**How quickly are buybacks processed?**\
Buybacks are processed instantly. Once you accept a buyback offer within 7 days of your reveal, your payout is issued to your Courtyard account immediately at 95% of the watch's fair market value. From there, you can use the funds for other purchases on Courtyard or withdraw to your bank account or debit card any time.\

From there, you can withdraw your funds to your bank account. Withdrawals are a separate process and may take additional time depending on your bank.

**What payment methods are accepted?**\
Credit card (via CoinFlow) and crypto (USDC) on the Polygon blockchain are both supported. 

**Is sales tax included?**\
Sales tax is calculated based on shipping destination and applicable law.

### Shipping & Insurance

**Do I have to pay for shipping?**\
Yes — customers pay shipping. Courtyard covers insurance separately. Domestic overnight is approximately $165; international priority is up to $260.

**Do you ship internationally?**\
We ship to most countries worldwide, with only a few exceptions due to legal or logistical restrictions. If you have concerns about shipping to your location, please contact us.

**Who covers shipping and insurance costs?**\
Courtyard covers all insurance costs for watch shipments. Your watch is fully insured at its declared value at no additional cost.

**What if my shipment is lost?**\
Shipments are fully insured. Claims are handled directly by our support team.\

**Can I redeem multiple watches at once?**\
Watches ship one per box for security and protection. You may submit multiple redemption requests simultaneously.
